This was a 4 percent increase over 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. In line with the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourist arrivals in Israel by 7,200 tourists in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 were from the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
