NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before.

Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that it was exciting to see tourism from Canada to Israel rebounding. "We are getting close to our record 2019 numbers. We believe that this trend will continue to grow as Canadians visit more countries.
